This unit was designed for today’s demands and looking to the future.  The default setup for the AD-40 is the Local Access Simulator mode. This mode lets a local phone have access to a telephone answering system or Elevator Emergency Dialing System, without the cost of an additional phone line. Elevators with emergency dialing speaker phones can use the AD-40 for Machine Room access of the units. The AD-40 can also be set to function as a Phone-To-Phone, True Tone Telephone Line Simulator that provides 48V on hook along with True: Dial Tone, Busy, Reorder, SIT, FAX Intro Tone, and both US Ring Up/Ring Back and UK Dual Ring Up/Ring Back signals.
